Ali Nafii is the Senior Managing Director and market leader of the San Diego Wealth Management team, focused on helping high-net-worth individuals and their families achieve financial goals through wealth planning, private banking, investment management, and trust and estate planning solutions. The seasoned team in San Diego is dedicated to delivering exceptional service, renowned expertise and an innovative goals-driven wealth management approach for clients. Prior to Northern Trust, Ali had the privilege to work for Mr. Jarislowsky (founder of Jarislowsky Fraser Ltd), also known as the "Warren Buffett of Canada". Ali worked intimately with senior portfolio managers on their portfolio allocation in the fixed income segment, and subsequently executed trades for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Ali offers a strong foundation and valuable insights when it comes to Investment Management. Ali earned a Bachelor of Commerce with Finance specialization from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He later received his MBA from Hult International Business School. Ali is an active member of the San Diego community and also serves on the board of directors for the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD).
