Dana Boyd
Major Gifts Officer
As the San Diego Parks Foundation's Major Gift Officer, Dana Boyd cultivates strong relationships with individual donors to advance the organization’s mission of improving the lives of children, families, and communities across San Diego.
Dana brings extensive experience in nonprofit development, most recently from All For Kids, a Los Angeles–based child welfare agency supporting foster care, adoption, and mental and behavioral health services. She has also served as a development executive for veteran service organizations in both San Diego and Los Angeles. Earlier in her career, Dana held sales and management roles with Aetna, Fidelity, and Capital Group, experiences that continue to inform her strategic, relationship-driven approach to philanthropy.
A Certified Fundraising professional through Boston University, Dana is known for connecting donors with meaningful, high-impact opportunities and for creating engaging initiatives that inspire long-term involvement, including board development and stewardship. Dana has a BS in Management from Pepperdine University and serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
A lifelong park lover, Dana’s connection to parks began early—from competing at the Jesse Owens Track Classic as a student athlete to teaching gymnastics through her hometown Parks Department. She currently enjoys staying connected to urban greenery by volunteering on the board of California Garden Clubs and serving as the Vice Chair of Toluca Lake Beautification Partners.
